Spanish Omelette Racipe

Spanish Omelette, also known as Tortilla EspaƱola, is a traditional dish from Spain. It is made with potatoes, onions, and eggs. Here is a basic recipe:

Ingredients:

  • 4 large potatoes, peeled and thinly sliced

  • 1 onion, thinly sliced

  • 6 eggs

  • Salt and pepper, to taste

  • Olive oil, for frying

Instructions:

  1. Heat a large skillet over medium heat and add enough olive oil to coat the bottom.

  2. Add the potatoes and onions to the skillet and season with salt and pepper. Cook, stirring occasionally, until the potatoes are tender, about 10-15 minutes.

  3. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and season with salt and pepper.

  4. Once the potatoes and onions are cooked, add the beaten eggs to the skillet and cook until the bottom is set and golden brown, about 5 minutes.

  5. Carefully flip the omelette using a plate and cook the other side until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes.

  6. Slice and serve hot.

Optional: Some variations add chorizo or other meats, or cheese
