american fried rice recipe


Ingredients:


  • Cooked Rice (2 cups)

  • Vegetable Oil (2 tbsp)

  • Onion (1/2, diced)

  • Carrot (1, diced)

  • Peas (1 cup)

  • Garlic (2 cloves, minced)

  • Eggs (2, beaten)

  • Soy Sauce (2 tbsp)

  • Sesame Oil (1 tsp)

  • Green Onion (2 tbsp, chopped)


Instructions:


  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.

  2. Add the onion, carrot, and peas and cook until they are tender (about 5 minutes).

  3. Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.

  4. Push the vegetables to the side of the pan and add the beaten eggs. Scramble the eggs until they are fully cooked.

  5. Add the cooked rice to the pan and mix with the vegetables and eggs.

  6. Stir in the soy sauce and sesame oil.

  7. Cook for 2-3 minutes or until the rice is heated through.

  8. Stir in the green onion.

  9. Serve hot. Enjoy!
