Deep Piza Recipe Us


  Ingredients:


  • 1/2 cup warm water (105-110°F)

  • 1 tsp sugar

  • 1 tbsp active dry yeast

  • 2 1/2 - 3 cups all-purpose flour

  • 2 tbsp olive oil

  • 1 tsp salt

  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning

  • 1 cup pizza sauce

  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

  • toppings of your choice (pepperoni, sausage, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, etc.)


Instructions:


  1. In a large bowl, mix the warm water, sugar, and yeast. Stir until the yeast is dissolved and let it sit for 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.

  2. Add 2 1/2 cups of flour, olive oil, salt, and Italian seasoning to the yeast mixture. Stir until a dough forms.

  3. Turn the dough out onto a floured surface and knead for about 5 minutes, adding additional flour as needed, until the dough is smooth and elastic.

  4. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place for about an hour, or until doubled in size.

  5. Preheat your oven to 425°F.

  6. Roll out the dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness. Place the dough on a pizza pan or a baking sheet.

  7. Spread the pizza sauce evenly over the dough, leaving a little bit of space around the edges for the crust.

  8. Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese and toppings of your choice over the sauce.

  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the crust is golden brown.

  10. Serve hot and enjoy your deep dish pizza!
